Top Venezuelan Chef - Adriana Urbina 💙

Adriana Urbina grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and always dreamed of being a famous chef. She decided to pursue her career abroad where she got a formal education at l’Ecole de cuisine Alain Ducasse in France and served as an apprentice at Spain’s Michelin 3-star restaurant, Martín Berasategui.

She has since had a successful career in NYC, winning the Food network’s CHOPPED three times, launching her private dining company and being the executive chef at the award winning restaurant, De Maria.

Despite working abroad for a long time, Adriana has always stayed true to her Latin-American roots. She imprints her culture in many of her recipes, such as her Yucca Latkes or her green plantain tortillas.

We believe this has been the key to her success, being able to integrate the nostalgic flavors she remembers from her childhood in Venezuela within her traditional culinary training. We also believe everyone should carry their traditions proudly by portraying a genuine self and making their country proud 💙💙🇻🇪🇻🇪
